Music in the secret courtyard of the new museum on the Night of the Arts
In addition to the inauguration of the light installation, the museum’s programme for the Night of the Arts includes many events and activities and free admission until 11 p.m. At 6, 7 and 8 p.m., folk music band Freija will play in the Falkman yard and from 9 to 10 p.m., DJ Njassan, Minna Kivelä and Annu Valonen will take visitors back to the 80s in the entrance hall. Marko Haavisto and the Poutahaukat band will play in the Falkman yard at 9:30 p.m. There will be surprise pop-up events in the exhibition halls throughout the night and, naturally, the exhibitions will also be open: Helsinki Bites, Children’s Town and Museum of Broken Relationships. The latter will only be open for two weeks after the Night of the Arts, until 11 September 2016.
