Sederholm era – event for children
Come and dive to the 18th century, into the era of Sederholm, with the help of music and workshops.
In the workshops, you can craft a mask and learn the secret language of fans with a fan you have made yourself. At the beginning of the event, at 2 pm, string orchestra Legato of the Avonia Music Institute will perform music of the era by Vivaldi, Bach and Haydn. As is always the case with the City Museum, entry to the event is free of charge.

String orchestra Legato’s members are advanced students from the Avonia Music Institute in Espoo. Legato has regularly performed in Suvela Chapel and Espoo Cathedral. Legato has also given concerts in Helsinki Cathedral and a hall of the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
